COVID-19 Specific Policies:
- We ask that all players make their best attempt to be vaccinated against COVID-19
prior to attendance of our event. However, we will not turn anyone away if they are not vaccinated.
- We ask that players make every attempt to maintain at least 3 feet between themselves and other people, to comply with physical distancing measures. We understand that during the game you may have to get closer than 3 feet, please exercise caution, and only do so for short periods of time.
- Adeptus Brew City will make every attempt to keep the room ventilated and keep air flowing in order to prevent a build-up of lingering droplets in the air, a known way to spread COVID-19.
- Adeptus Brew City will NOT touch, interfere with, or disturb any models during an active game. We ask that players make every attempt to handle only their own models. Adeptus Brew City will NOT handle another player's models, period.
- All players attending the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly acknowledge the risk they are taking by attending a gathering during a pandemic, and as such, by attending the event, fully and entirely waive their right to hold Adeptus Brew City or any of its members or representatives, patrons, the Veterans of Foreign Wars post or staff, or any other participants of the tournament responsible or liable in any legal capacity for any sickness they may incur in correlation of, or caused by attending the event. Adeptus Brew City or the Veterans of Foreign Wars post reserves the right to deny entry to, or remove from its event, any person, for any reason, including those that appear ill, or those that demonstrate symptoms of COVID-19, or those that refuse to comply with any of the COVID-19 protocols above.

Adeptus Brew City Model Policy
-
ALL models must be painted to a 3-color minimum standard, unless you have received express written consent from the Tournament Organizer.
-
This means that an honest attempt to paint all models MUST be exhibited and that 3 colors have not been simply applied to circumvent this policy. The TO has the final say in what constitutes the spirit of this policy. As a general rule, if you feel the need to justify why a model is completed, it probably isn’t.
-
-
Units must always be represented by appropriate models. This is the single, most important rule. The 'What You See Is What You Get' (WYSIWYG) rule is in effect for our Tournament.
-
That means all units MUST be easily identifiable as the particular choice they represent and that any and all weapons/options taken for a unit MUST be clearly represented on the model(s). Models not appropriately represented will be removed from the game upon player complaint.
-
-
Unless receiving express written tournament organizer approval, your army should be primarily constructed of models from Games Workshop or Forge World and the appropriate model range(s). Supplementing your army with models from outside the game system is acceptable but should NOT be the norm.
-
If you wish to use a Forge World model, you must have the actual model, not a conversion. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
-
The size and shape of all model bases MUST be appropriate for the Warhammer 40,000 system. Converted models, such as vehicles that do not require bases MUST maintain the intended size, shape, aesthetic consistency and height of the model represented.

Event Expectations
-
Players are expected to bring a printed ONE PAGE army list for each of their opponents and submit a copy using BCP to verify that their list is properly constructed before the event. Meaning they will need to bring a minimum of three (3) copies of their list.
-
Players MUST use the same army list throughout the tournament.
-
NOTE: Pre-Game Options such as Warlord, Warlord Trait, Pre-Game Command Point Expenditures, Relic(s), Psychic Powers, and similar are fixed, must be included in your army list, and may not be changed throughout the tournament, in accordance with the 2020 Grand Tournament book.
-
-
Each player is expected to bring a copy of the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, the most current rules for their army, the 2020 Grand Tournament book, and all the materials they need to play the game, including dice, a tape-measure, and something to write with.

-
Only Warhammer 40,000 Codices and Supplements allowed by the 2020 Grand Tournament Packet released prior to October 8th, 2022 are allowed in this event. You may not use material from 30k to construct your list.
-
Each player will be given a mission packet, and should they lose this mission packet, they may have points deducted from their overall score to replace it.
-
Please realize that while we acknowledge that a tournament is a competitive event, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly is also meant to be about the fun and narrative of the game. We ask that players bring competitive but themed lists to our event.
-
Cell Phones are absolutely unacceptable as rule, FAQ, or other relevant sources for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
-
Tablets (e.g. iPads) are acceptable. Physical copies of rulesets, FAQs, etc., are preferred. Rules challenges cannot be made, or defended, with material presented on a Cell Phone.
